Area 5 Candidates
There are two other candidates running in Area 5, Candy Olson and Carolyn Williams.

At this time (Sept 2024) Carolyn does not have a published website to reference, but does have an Instagram page. While we do have some overlap in our policy platforms, I find it concerning that she has no publicly stated positions on censorship, book bans, nor forced outing policies - especially given that these are critical issues facing school boards across the country, and particularly in our own backyard in nearby districts like Temecula Valley USD and Chino Valley USD.

I also encourage you to support the re-election of Melissa Ayala-Quintero in Area 3 and the re-election of Alex Vara in Area 4 for Redlands School Board. Both these candidates are running against extremists with openly anti-LGBTQ and discriminatory platforms. Your support means the world to me, but it is not enough for me to have success - with 3 seats out of 5 up for election, it is critical that Melissa and Alex also succeed for us to keep extremists off our board and out of Redlands.
